1.1 To buy from Altis Ind Ltd you must be not less than 18 years old.
1.2 A contract comes into effect between us when we have confirmed acceptance of your order. We are not obliged to supply goods to you until we have done that.
1.3 Ownership for the goods transfers when we have been paid in full and delivery has taken place.
1.4 All products are supplied subject to availability. If we are unable to supply any product, we will inform you of this and advise how soon we will be able to supply.
1.5 All descriptions, colour renditions and specifications are presented and given in good faith. If an error occurs or a manufacturer changes the specification of a product, in keeping with the distance selling regulations, you may return it to us at our cost for a full transaction refund. No consequential loss claim will be accepted. If a specification changes to product you have ordered from us we reserve the right to supply a similar and comparable alternative. If you are dissatisfied with the substitute product you may return it to us at our cost.
1.6 It is the customers responsibility to ensure that all order details are correct before placement. Altis Ind Ltd accepts no liability for goods supplied as ordered being delivered correctly to an incorrect delivery address
1.7 Where a promotion offers free merchandise or services as part of a transaction, the free product remains an integral part of, and not divisible from, the transaction and is subject to the same terms and conditions
1.8 For goods delivered outside the UK, the customer will be responsible for the settlement of any import duties or additional taxes applied in the course of their transit.
2.1 We trust that you will be satisfied with the goods ordered. We are happy to accept the return of unwanted products 14 days from purchase but if you do need to return them to us please follow these instructions. (These terms do not affect your statutory rights)
2.2 If you wish to exercise your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations in the UK you may only cancel your order by writing or by email. You cannot do so by phone.
2.3 If you need to return something contact us first so that we are aware an item is being returned and can give you a returned goods number.
2.4 When you return something to us you are responsible for it getting safely back to us. If the item is being returned because it is faulty we will refund reasonable costs incurred in its return. Please confirm your method of return when contacting us.
2.5 Unless the goods are faulty, any goods returned to us must be returned unused and unopened with any sealing tags intact and protected adequately against damage in transit. The packaging must be in a saleable condition on arrival at Altis Ind Ltd, Goods supplied to and returned from outside the UK will be subject to a 20% handling charge and any refund will exclude postage costs.
2.6 Refunds will be processed within 30 days from the date you tell us of a product return and refunds will not be issued until the product has been received by us in its original or delivered state.
2.7 When you return anything to us you should make sure it is suitably insured based on the value of the product. This means that the full value may be recovered by you if the product is lost or damaged. You should retain any receipt confirming the return. If returned products are lost we will not be liable for them.
3.1 Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order for any item purchased on our website and claim a full refund. To cancel your order you must notify us within 7 working days following the day of delivery. You must return the item to us as required by our Terms but if you do not, or if you return it at our expense we may charge you the reasonable costs of returning it.
3.2 The goods must be returned in an unused and re-saleable condition. You are responsible for the cost of safe carriage back to us. You are strongly advised to arrange for adequate insurance to cover the product during its return journey.
3.3 The item should be returned within 7 working days from the date we receive your cancellation.
4.1 Any product supplied to you must be used for its intended purpose and not be subject to abuse or unreasonable usage.
4.2 We will replace any product that has failed in normal usage within 60 days of purchase, as long as the product has been used as intended and does not, on examination, display any signs of misuse. Writing instruments dropped on their writing points or nibs are not covered by guarantee
4.3 If you have to return goods to us because of an error on our part we will exchange or refund the product for you. The goods must be returned in their original packaging, unopened. We will also refund any reasonable associated postage costs.
5.1 We are not obliged to accept the return of a product unless covered by the Distance Selling Regulations as outlined in Section 3 and you have notified us of cancellation in writing within 7 days of delivery, except where the product is faulty.
5.2 If we authorise the return of an unwanted or incompatible product, you are responsible for the cost of safe carriage to us and we would advise you to organise appropriate insurance.
6.1 Where limited offers are advertised, these products are subject to availability and are allocated on a strict first come first served basis
6.2 The price you pay is the price shown on this website at the time we receive your order apart from the following exception. We always try to ensure that all the prices on our website are accurate and up to date but mistakes may occur. If we discover a mistake in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, we will give you a full refund.
The prices indicated on our website are only available through a direct purchase from Altis Ind Ltd. We cannot offer these prices through any other part of our parent company, unless promoted otherwise.
Prices shown are exclusive of tax.
6.3 Payment can only be made through our nominated credit card service provider. We take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.
7.1 Delivery schedule will be advised on acceptance of your order.
7.2 If goods are not available from stock, delivery should be made within 30 days. We will make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated time period, but delays are sometimes inevitable or beyond our control and time for delivery will not be of the essence of the contract. We will seek to keep you informed of any delay to your expected delivery date.
9.1 If you are a business or if the goods are used wholly or in part for business purposes we will not be liable to you for any business loss including loss of profits (whether direct or indirect), revenue, goodwill, or incidental, or consequential loss that you may suffer as a result of the purchase of goods from us. Any other liability will be limited to the price paid for the goods. We do not exclude our liability for fraud or for death or personal injury. For our performance time is not of the essence. Returns are subject to a 20% handling fee.
9.2 Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to Business customers.
10.1 Altis Ind Ltd will not be liable for any claims, which arise from the supply of products unless we are negligent but we will not in any event be liable for any consequential loss except where this is required by law.
10.2 We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure but unless we are negligent we are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised access to information provided by you.
10.3 The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 is excluded from applying to contracts made under these terms.
10.4 These terms cannot be altered or suspended in any way except with the written authority of a director of Altis Ind Ltd.
10.5 These conditions are subject to English law and the jurisdiction of the English courts.
