The Metabo SBE 850 Special Edition Two Speed Impact Drill uses Vario-Electronics for working with speeds customised to the materials in use. The speed is easily preselected thanks to the thumbwheel and the robust die cast aluminium gear housing provides optimum heat dissipation and durability. The drill is capable of clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation and is fitted with a quick-action keyless chuck and spindle stop gear for convenient one-hand tool change.
It has a rotating carbon brush bridge that offers maximum performance even in an anti-clockwise operation for the removal of jammed screws. It is fitted with a Metabo Marathon motor that has a patented dust protection system for increased service life and a Metabo S-Automatic Torque Limiting Clutch for the mechanical decoupling of the drive if the tool jams for safe working.
Other features inculde a spindle with a hexagonal recess for screwdriver bits when working without the chuck and it has a cable-protecting ball spout for best freedom of motion when working.
