The LED Lenser L6 is a medium sized, light-weight LED hand torch with a shockproof plastic body, making it especially practical in areas of extreme cold or excessive heat. Made from polycarbonate, a temperature-resistant thermoplastic used in aircraft cockpits and riot shields. It offers the same benefits as a metal-bodied torch but with a significant saving in weight. It is also water and dust resistant, IPX54.
It is a popular accessory amongst tradesmen, travellers, engineers and expedition leaders, who usually have more than enough other kit and tools to carry. It incorporates Advanced Focus System technology, bringing about unbroken white light from broad floodlight to sharply-focused long-distance beam. Just twist the head of the lamp to focus the light quickly between flood and spot illumination.
At the other end there is another twist, this time it’s for the operating switch, and that’s to help stop it from coming on accidentally in transit. The torch has a matt black finish and a textured comfort-grip. With corrosion resistant gold plated contacts for better conductivity.
