The Gerber Hinderer Rescue Folding Knife has been specially designed for fire fighters. It has a lightweight, unique design with an oversized thumb stud that can be easily handled, even in turn-out gloves. The blade is made from 440A high carbon stainless steel, offering superior blade retention and corrosion resistance. For safety the knife is fitted with a liner back locking mechanism.
The knife has been integrated with lifesaving functions; a safety hook cutter for clothing, webbing and seat belts, a window punch and an oxygen tank valve opening.
